Other Mutation Detection

STA Core reagents are designed for mutation detection using TrimGen's proprietary STA technology.  The application of STA Core reagents is flexible, and it allows customers to assemble custom test panels. Customers can use gene specific primers to test any mutation or SNP by combining STA core reagents.

Assay Method: Shifted Termination assay and fragment analysis
Assay Platform: Capillary Electrophoresis Sequencer (ABI Bioanalyzer 3100, 3700, 3130, 3500)
Assay Time: 2.5 - 3 hours

Features

  • Accurately detect target nucleotide through multiple sequence specific steps
  • Mutations are double-confirmed by both fragment size and fluorescent color
  • Simultaneously detect any possible mutation of target nucleotide. For example "A" changed to C, G or T
  • Multiplex test - Use fewer tubes and less sample DNA
  • Easy Data Analysis - Clear-cut results show wild type and mutation peak only ("See the Peak, See the Mutation")

Reagent Sets Include

  • Master Mix for DNA amplification
  • C-UP Enzyme for PCR product clean up
  • C-UP Buffer
  • ST Reagent mix for STA reaction
  • Sequencer loading buffer and size standard
