STA-based MutectorTM Reagents
MutectorTM (Mutation Detector) reagents have been developed and optimized for the STA technology to detect somatic mutations in oncology and identify genetic variations in Pharmacogenetics. Our MutectorTM reagents have following unique features:
- Accessible platform - run on industry standard PCR instrument and ABI Genetic Analyzer
- Color and size detection - enable easy analysis and clear identification of mutation detection peak(s)
- Multiplexing capability - amplify multiple mutations from different loci, genes, alleles, exons, and introns in a single tube
- Excellent sensitivity – detect up to 1% mutation contribution in a background of wild type genomic DNA from analytical samples
- Built-in internal control - ensure at least one peak, either wild type or mutant will be present in each sample
- Simple protocol – get clear, easy-to-read results in less than 4 hours
- Universal – core reagents can be used for different gene mutation and genotyping
