Mutector^TM II is a highlly sensitive multiplex mutation detection platform. The Mutector^TM II KRAS kit is designed to detect all 12 KRAS mutations in codons 12 and 13. The assay uses TrimGen's proprietary Shifted Termination Assay (STA) technology to accurately detect the mutations. STA technology uses special chemistry and a modified enzyme mixture to enrich the mutation signal 20-fold and is able to detect as low as 1% of mutations.
