Mutector^TM is a highly sensitive mutation detection platform. The Mutector^TMKRAS-MP kit is designed to detect all 6 KRAS mutations in codon 12 and 5 mutations in codon 13. The assay uses TrimGen's proprietary Shifted Termination Assay (STA) technology to accurately detect the mutations. STA technology uses special chemistry and a modified enzyme mixture to enrich the mutation signal 20-fold and is able to detect as low as 1% of mutations.
